Today was a good day,
not special in any way,
just,
a good day.
List of ‘to dos’,
done.
Got a haircut,
looks fine,
neat, short,
silvering,
and,
yes,
butch.

I think my hairdresser’s,
got it down:-)
I rested,
spent some time,
with mom,
cuddled with the Dude,
ordered a few,
presents online,
got myself a wool sweater,
on special,
I need to keep warm,
a nice thin Shetland,
should do the trick,
along with my thermals,
and,
merino,
the cold and especially,
the damp,
brrr,
will be kept at bay.
A good day,
in no way,
spectacular,
a day to appreciate,
some down time,
and,
stock up,
on energy,
the coming month,
is a tiring,
even if,
enjoyable one.
I’m looking,
towards,
the new year,
with excitement.
A new year brings,
challenges and trepidations,
big and small.
I want to get down,
to some serious,
reading,
some serious,
writing,
and,
some continued,
serious,
living.
Not serious in a,
staid and boring sense,
more like with,
intent.
Living,
like you mean it,
participating,
partaking,
and,
perhaps,
some occasional,
partying.
Seriously.
