Of Spring, dogs, Habs and thugs

It’s a grey morning,

so far,

but,

the sun is,

definitely,

trying to push,

through.

Signs of Spring,

abound,

lots of slush,

lots of water,

oh and of course,

dog poop,

ah Spring:-)

Today will be a quiet day,

of walking about,

getting some air,

and the library.

I love my Sundays,

especially when,

they are free,

practically free form.

Good day at the bookstore,

yesterday,

enough weirdos,

to keep it interesting,

but,

not too many,

so that it bugs you.

Did a little bit,

of dog sitting,

my friend Pierre,

left the beautiful Odile,

his West Highland terrier,

with me as he ran some errands,

great dog,

what a personality,

and very well behaved,

I just point to,

the little bench by the window,

and she goes and lays by the heat.

I told you she was cute,

and,

she is practically addicted,

to oatmeal bars.

Watched the game last night,

perhaps I am a glutton,

for punishment,

and,

never realised

<wink>

yep,

they blew another lead,

and managed to get,

their asses kicked,

by the Maple Leafs,

who can’t beat anyone,

but,

they can beat,

the Habs.

I read a book on,

the Montreal Irish Mafia,

competently written,

not great.

To be fair,

I don’t suppose sources,

are the easiest thing,

to come by,

in this genre,

you’re either talking to,

wannabes,

or,

cops,

or,

as the wiseguys say,

in the lingo,

rats.

Most of the guys,

who lived this stuff,

are dead.

I think,

like many people,

I have a fascination,

for the criminal element,

living in the margin,

in a way I don’t quite,

understand.

Radicalism,

I understand,

criminality with a purpose,

cheap hoodlum-ism,

not so much,

but,

it does interest me.

The human animal,

never ceases to,

amaze,

and,

‘perplexe’.

Later girls,

BB

I am a bookish butch in my mid early fifties. I live in Montréal and always have. I used to run a small used bookstore. Reading keeps me sane. My latest jiggie is photography, book project in the works, living the dream
