Of Hankies and Things

It’s a greyish day,

supposed to snow,

I don’t see it myself,

but,

apparently,

it’s coming,

we’ll see:-)

My friend,

Pierre,

or as I now,

refer to him,

Geek extraordinaire,

the man saved bookish butch, I owe him, big time:-)

took this picture,

yesterday,

taken on a Blackberry,

a shot of the counter,

in my bookstore,

I like it,

colourful.

I’ve had colour,

on the brain,

over the last few days,

maybe,

because,

of the long,

greyness,

of late Fall,

followed,

by,

Winter

<sigh>,

maybe,

I’ve been wearing,

too much,

black,

you gotta love that slimming effect!!

but,

this week,

I’ve been thinking,

I need some,

colour,

even if others,

don’t see it,

I know it’s,

there.

Some colourful boxers?

Maybe.

Some colourful hankies,

worn in my back jeans pocket?

Maybe.

I like hankies,

I like the idea,

of readiness,

in an emergency,

hand wiping,

brow moping,

offering a lady,

a soft,

clean,

nice smelling,

way to wipe,

her eyes,

her nose,

or anything else,

she needs help with.

A hankie,

discreetly hidden,

away,

means something.

It means,

I’m prepared,

I have a plan,

I am a gentleman butch

<wink>

most of mine,

are discreet,

some might even say,

conservative,

but,

today,

red and plaid,

I need the colour,

đŸ™‚

Have a colourful,

sunny day.

Later girls,

BB

  1. Hello!

    I discovered your blog recently,
    and am enjoying reading.

    Being a bookish, butch-ish
    middle-aged lesbian,
    I’m your target audience!

    Agree with both the colour
    and the hankie.

    Cheers!
