I’m going to see…..:-)

Well,

it’s still,

November,

and,

I’m still tired,

seems no matter,

how many gallons of coffee,

I pour into my ole bod,

I’m still tired,

I’m trying not to be,

tiresome,

with limited degrees of success:-)

I have a few things,

to look forward to,

in the next few days,

got some social stuff,

going on,

dinner with mom and the ex and the ex’s mother

this is actually much better than it might sound to some of you, I like my ex, she’s my bud and her mother is a nice lady, who happens to be turning 70! Ain’t that a quick in the head:-P Someone wrote in her face book birthday greetings that 70 was the new 60 and I thought, yeah, that may just be right:-)

So that’s happening on Saturday,

on Sunday I’ve been invited,

by a friend to attend,

Le Salon Du Livre De Montreal,

the Montreal Book Fair,

mostly French,

always a good time.

But,

next week,

drum roll, please,

I will going to see,

Ivan E Coyote and Rae Spoon,

in what promises to be,

a hoot,

their new show,

Gender Failure

A big Thank You to Dee for telling me about this, in my November doldrums, I might have missed this and then beat myself up about it.

I’ve asked my friend Francoys, the anarchist,

to go with me,

and,

I promise I’ll write all about it,

next week,

the show is on the 21 st at Sala Rossa on St-Laurent,

if any of you are in the viscinity,

drop by,

sliding scale price from $10.00 to $15.00,

the add says ‘no one turned away’

how cool is that!

This show and it’s afterglow,

will surely help me to,

survive,

November.

December is better,

my body gets used to,

the dark,

the cold,

and,

my sweetheart will be here,

for a visit,

and,

then there is Christmas,

and,

looking forward to a new year,

vast improvement over,

November (cue the lugubrious music)

Aside from that,

things are ok,

slow,

but,

ok,

now if I could only win the lottery….

Later girls,

BB

  1. I heart Ivan Coyote! Yay! Have some fun, get out and about, do stuff… that’s the way to get through these months.

    Cheers!

  2. So cool. So glad. Sounds like a great few days.

On a completely unrelated topic, I just finished “The End of Your Life Book Club” by Will Schwalbe. I really liked it, and think you might too.
