I am so happy. SO happy. Here in Ohio the attack/hate ads were so ubiquitous it was like living on a reality tv set 24/7. So much vitriol. I was really doubting the sanity/humanity/capacity for compassion of most of the US. Now I sit with faith restored. I am so so so so happy.
I’m glad your faith has been restored. I have been very ‘proud’ of Americans in the last two elections,
they have risen above and not been swayed by hate, finger pointing and vitriol, Bravo:-)
I just feel so relieved about everything. I’m not expecting sunshine just yet, but things seem to get brighter. Obama’s little displays of gratitude and emotion in some of his more recent speeches really seem to reflect a humility that I don’t think Romney really possessed.
I have to say that I’m a Biden fan too. Behind the gaffes is a man who is just so genuine in his love of country and concern for its citizens. If anything, the lack of polish seems to reinforce this.
I agree with you about all of it:-) I’m also a Joe Bidden fan, he’s a real straight shooter, a good man. as is Barack and both their wives are brilliant caring women, four outstanding people devoted to their citizens. Not perfect, but, hey, who Is? 😛 Nice to hear from you hope all is going well, hug:-)

You sure did:-) From now on whenever someone speaks of the cynicism of the electorat or the non implication of youth or the fact that it is ‘rich white men’ who decide elections, all of us will be able to point to the twice elected Barack Obama and, that 2008 wasn’t simply a blip:-) Welcome back my friend, welcome back:-)
