Fall is my,
favourite season,
and,
since,
I’ve been granted another,
three weeks,
to live,
the life of the idle,
if not of,
the idle rich,
I’m sucking every bit,
of the,
clear blue light,
crisping air,
and,
changing leaves,
out of the marrow of life,
that is,
Fall
🙂
Excuse my rotten,
metaphors,
similes,
and,
grandiose paraphrasing,
Fall makes me giddy,
with joy,
with life,
with possibility,
I know people,
feel that way about,
Spring.
I like Spring,
but,
here in,
the,
La Belle Province,
portion,
of the,
Great White North,
Fall is most beautiful,
most colourful,
most invigorating.
🙂
I’ve been cat visiting,
this week,
while the ex,
was away,
and,
it gave me some,
quiet time,
and,
a different,
walking route.
I watched a movie a day,
keeping the little guy
company,
some of which were,
very enjoyable,
and,
at least two,
that I found,
really,
wonderful.
Anyone see,
Salmon Fishing In The Yemen?
If you haven’t ,
do yourself a favour,
and,
do.
It is smart and beautiful,
the landscapes,
the people,
eye candy,
for whatever floats your boat,
nothing action oriented,
about this movie,
no silicone stars,
beautiful people,
a good movie,
for adults,
who think,
who read,
who worry about,
the state of the world,
their lives,
their relationships,
their careers ,
but,
who remain,
hopeful,
who still believe.
I’ve re-read,
Cakes and Ale,
Maugham,
always brings me back,
to reading,
and,
at the ‘suggestion’
of Fran Lebowitz,
whose tastes,
I usually share,
I have picked up,
a John O’Hara,
novel,
at the library,
An Appointment In Samarra,
Fran says,
“O’Hara is the real Fitzgerald”
I must say,
it starts well,
good, strong,
keep you reading,
prose.
I’ll let you know.
In the meantime,
have fun,
go out there,
get some air,
ruddy cheeks,
the whole bit.
Later  girls,
BB
I’m looking forward to the leaves turning; the Maritimes are notorious for their gorgeous foliage.
I’ve never been to the maritimes in the fall only summer, but, I’m sure it’s beautiful. I love New Brunswick and Halifax is one the prettiest cities.
