My hair is growing,
and I’m loving it,
so-
loving it:-)
I like the way it looks,
I like people’s reactions,
most people,
think it’s just a new,
haircut,
I guess it looks right,
should have done it,
years ago.
I had more than one reason,
for doing it,
the primary one being,
for Cancer awareness,
to feel,
a minuscule,
no,
less than minuscule,
infinitesimal??
bit,
of what women who loose,
their hair,
feel like.
Honestly,
I haven’t felt it,
probably naive,
to think,
I might have.
What I feel is, me.
Me,
liberated,
Me,
low maintenance,
Me,
kick ass, sexy,
Me,
so butch,
it’s a great feeling:-)
Nothing hiding,
my head,
my face,
big round head,
big glasses,
big beaming smile.
People often smile at me,
it’s contagious,
smilling is,
but,
for the past week,
I’ve seen,
and,
felt,
more warmth,
coming off people,
more twinkle.
It’s probably,
my imagination,
I guess,
what I’m trying to say,
is,
I thought the hair,
and it’s buzz cut,
would change me,
but,
it’s just made me more,
Me,
