Inspirations

It’s a gray day,

out there,

damp and gray,

not very inspiring.

So,

here are some,

things,

people,

places,

that inspire me,

Snoopy,

an irreverent,

optimist,

and  fellow aspiring writer,

It Was A Dark And Stormy Night:-)

In spite of,

tough odds,

and,

pig headed,

short sighted,

opposition,

he maintains,

his pragmatic,

cool.

An amazing wife,

undoubtedly,

has something,

to do with it:-)

He lived,

through,

what would have,

crushed,

ordinary men.

New Orleans,

kicks in the face,

punches to the gut,

loosing everything,

and yet,

they can still party,

now that, my friends,

is spirit!!

New York firefighters,

they lost so many,

on the day the world,

went mad,

and they still run,

into burning buildings.

Courage, Bravery,

inspiration.

Underpaid,

under appreciated,

essential,

molding the future.

The highest,

the most arduous.

We must keep reaching,

and striving.

Care about the Planet.

Because,

sport,

inspires,

unites,

teaches you,

even in peripherie,

as a fan,

the thrill of victory,

and,

the agony of defeat,

it’s important to loose,

with grace,

and learn from defeat.

Home,

sometimes,

rusty,

but,

still,

Home,

for better, for worse.

A very small sampling,

of what inspires me.

Friends, family, love and books,

these I figured,

you knew,

were more,

than inspiration,

they are my foundation,

that on which,

my house,

is built.
