Yes,
I’m feeling groovy,
I had a wonderful weekend.
good sales,
at the bookstore,
on Saturday,
and then,
my friend,
the anarchist,
made me dinner,
and,
since he is quite possibly,
the best cook,
I know,
and, I know some good cooks
it was a delightful evening,
of food,
and,
conversation,
we are both talkers,
and,
we love to talk to each other.
Nice:-)
Yesterday,
I went to have dinner,
with my ex,
she made ribs,
and.
we watched a movie,
and,
part of the Superbowl,
too bad about the Niners, valiant effort, came back and made a game of it:-)
kept my mind off stuff,
just being with people you love,
thank the goddess for friends.
Today,
I haven’t done much,
a few chores,
but,
mostly sat around,
and,
read and listened to music,
all kinds of stuff,
all over the spectrum,
stuff that inspires me,
and,
rejuvenates me,
stuff from my childhood,
Simon and Garfunkel,
and,
some let’s dance real close,
kind of stuff,
Al Green,
oh yeah, babies
(wink)
some Eurythmics,
Annie Lennox,
swoon
and,
for the last little while,
I have been listening,
to an amazing group from,
Newfoundland,
Great Big Sea,
I love them,
a little rock n roll,
a little bit of celtic,
a whole lot of fun,
and,
they,
make you feel good,
helps your resolve
to keep trying,
so much to work at,
so much worth working,
towards.
Nothing like,
fiddle, accordion or mandolin,
to put a little light in your heart.
I gotta a smile on my face and I’ve got four walls around me, hey it’s just an ordinary day, at the end of the day you’ve just got to say it’s all your state of mind and it’s alright-It’s up to you if you sink or swim, just keep the faith that your ship will come in- Ordinary Day-Great Big Sea
So today,
I’m celebrating an ordinary day,
and,
feelin’ groovy,
hope you all are as well.
Later girls,
BB
