Looking back, Looking forward

It’s cold out there,

really cold,

it’s Thursday,

so mom,

is at the bookstore,

this morning,

lucky her!

Some days,

you feel like,

you just want to play,

hooky,

today is,

one of those days,

I need some time,

to myself,

but,

it’s really much too cold,

to walk around.

I’ve been looking back,

on the year,

and,

how amazing it’s been,

in so many ways:-)

I’ve met,

a wonderful woman,

I’ve fallen in love with,

a wonderful woman.

<very happy, sigh>

đŸ™‚

Last year,

around this time,

I was thinking,

my love life,

was Stalingrad,

what a difference,

a year makes:-)

I also think,

I’m making real progress,

in the career decision,

process.

I’ve decided to let things,

marinate,

undisturbed,

’til mid-January,

sometimes you need to be,

patient with yourself,

I tend to be more patient,

with others,

and don’t often,

cut myself some slack,

it doesn’t really show,

but,

I’m hard on myself,

expect a lot.

This year,

I’ll be patient with others,

and,

myself,

well…

I’ll try<wink>

As far as the blog,

is concerned,

I may have veered,

off course,

quite a few times,

lost my way,

babbled,

my way,

back.

The blog is very much,

like my life,

a work in progress.

If I look at it,

objectively,

it really is what,

it states in ‘about’

life and books from this butch’s perspective.

I’ve read less this year,

I think I may have,

lived,

more,

and that is,

definitely,

a good thing.

Later girls,

BB
