It’s a grey day,
was supposed to be snowy,
weather forecasting must be the most frustrating job in the world in these days of climate change:-)
The Habs won last night,
haven’t been able to say that,
in a while!!
Maybe they’ll head into,
and,
start 2012 with,
a roar.
Here’s hoping,
fingers crossed.
Everyone have a nice Holiday?
My Christmas was very nice.
On Christmas Eve,
my ex came over with her new girl,
I was nervous,
wanted to make a good impression,
and,
I wanted to like her,
because my ex deserves the best.
I shouldn’t have worried,
we got on very well,
nice, bright, personable lady,
all is good:-)
Mom made a nice meal,
which was enjoyed by all,
nice presents,
too.
Good company, good food, good loot,
and,
sharing time with people you care about,
and,
love.
It don’t get any better than that:-)
On Christmas day,
we went to my aunt’s,
it was also,
very enjoyable,
everyone was in a great mood,
and,
on their best behaviour,
the kids were happy,
and,
delightful.
On the 26 th,
we had dinner at our friend’s,
it was good.
I don’t remember as peaceful,
and,
harmonious a Christmas,
hallelujah!!
New year’s will be quiet,
I like it that way,
taking mom,
to see Tintin on New Year’s day,
she’s really looking forward to it,
and so am I.
Still reading Lady Chatterley,
I’m finally starting to get,
to the ‘meat’ of it.
I must say,
I like it a lot,
the characters,
the observations,
the philosophical bent,
Lawrence has an interesting way,
of saying things,
often repeats things,
to drive the point home,
very effective technique,
and,
not the least bit annoying.
I’m hoping to finish for New Year’s.
