Occupy?? Damn, right

It’s a beautiful,

albeit,

cool day,

typical,

October weather,

brisk and windy.

The Habs lost,

last night,

but,

they looked,

better,

stronger,

more cohesive,

and the loss was,

in overtime,

shows more,

determination and competitiveness.

I’m very much,

looking forward,

to my Toronto trip.

I know it’s only,

three days,

but,

for me,

that’s big.

Being self-employed,

has many advantages,

paid vacation,

isn’t,

one of them:-)

A fabulously good,

and positive day,

at the bookstore.

Everyone smiling,

and finding what they want,

the kind of day,

us booksellers,

live for.

Some customers,

were talking about,

Occupy The Planet,

a movement,

that has grown out of,

Occupy Wall Street,

some seemed to think,

it was a waste of time.

I don’t agree.

I know,

you can’t expect much,

in the way of immediate,

concrete results,

but,

the power structure,

needs to be told,

we know what,

you’re doing,

and,

we want you to stop.

People are losing,

their jobs,

their pensions,

their homes,

while the bankers,

who are the authors,

of this,

chaos,

go home with bigger,

bonuses,

and have the nerve,

to say it’s,

what stockholders expect.

How much profit is enough profit?

Are we back,

to the days,

of early capitalism,

savage unregulated capitalism?

Looks that way,

maybe the anarchists,

are right,

property is theft,

and,

parliementary democracy,

is a pacifier for the masses,

a ‘well you voted for these people’

joke.

Is not voting the answer?

I wonder?

I don’t think,

anything as far,

as government,

and governance,

is simple,

but,

why do we participate,

in a system,

that offers,

as choices,

crook number one,

crook number two,

clown number one,

clown number two,

makes you think.

I salute the people,

who are ready to,

stand up,

or sit down,

and,

Occupy.

Later girls,
