Yep,
it’s here,
Winter!!!!
<moan, groan, sniff>
Well,
almost,
here in Montreal,
we had our,
first snow fall,
so,
it’s coming!!!
Winter
<ugh>
So,
here are,
A few survival techniques,
I have learned over,
my many,
too many,
Winters.
1. Reading.
Informs you,
distracts you,
keeps you sane,
sort of:-)
2.
Hockey the great Canadian game,
Playing,
watching,
it’s all good.
3.
Speaks for Itself:-)
4.
Smooching,
with your favourite Prairie Dog,
body heat,
oh yeah:-)
<wink>
5.
Warm head gear.
you pick,
but,
a word to the wise,
avoid fleece,
it messes with your hair.
6.
Toastie, stylish footwear.
7.
Flannel,
Courreur des bois?
Butch about town?
Both:-)
‘Girls’ love it,
just saying:-)
8.
Christmas,
the warmth and love of family,
of friends.
9.
Or
or,
I’m an Herbal butch Myself,
but,
heh,
everyone one needs,
a little help.
10.
This next one always works,
brings your spirits up,
gets the blood pumping,
and in the immortal words of,
my man,
John Lennon,
Whatever gets you through the night,
in the case of Winter,
it’s more like,
Whatever gets you to the light,
aka,
Spring:-)
Dancing!!!
like no-one’s watching,
on your own,
to very loud music,
whatever works for you.
Later girls,
BB
Hi BB!
Typically I would have read your winter post in warm and sunny Houston, TX. I would have thought, “How bad can a little cold air and a few grey skies be?!” Today though, I am in cold, grey Den Haag, NL…OMG! I have only been here a little over two weeks and I can’t wait to get back to my winter highs of 21 C! I get to warm up by Friday, but you are at the start of your grey days…I hope that all of your remedies really work!
Hello globetrotter:-) You are getting a taste of our Fall but, that isn`t Winter, not for us anyway:-) We don`t wear those silly hats for fashion, it`s about survival, it`s cold here. But, I prefer that to hot and humid you can dress, heat the house and cuddle:-) Enjoy your trip, and a safe journey home to your Texas heat:-)
