Building Memories

I have big plans,

for Sunday,

I’m taking my nephew,

to see the new,

Puss n Boots movie,

in 3D.

You see,

Puss is Antonin’s,

idol.

As far as,

childhood idols,

are concerned,

he could do,

worse.

Puss is,

smart,

athletic,

adventurous,

brave,

and,

a dapper dresser.

Sure,

he’s a bit of,

a love ’em,

and,

leave ’em,

type,

but,

after all

he is a cat:-)

The kid loves,

cats,

he’s a little cat like,

himself,

very slim,

small framed,

delicate,

and,

yet,

rough and tumble,

a boy.

He has,

two brothers,

and,

a sister,

so doesn’t get,

to go out,

with one,

adult,

one on one,

very often.

He’s coming,

into the city,

we are going,

to take,

the subway,

and watch,

a movie,

starring,

his idol,

should be fun,

and hopefully,

it will leave him,

with a special memory,

I know aunt BB,

is looking forward to it:-)

Later girls,

BB

  1. What a wonderful thing to do, creating memories and being the cool aunt.

Puss in Boots was fun. A little odd as a story from an adult perspective. I’d be interested to hear your take on it. It shook up a few of my internally held visuals on nursery rhymes and kid’s stories. Jack and Jill are NOT in any way shape or form as I imagined them to be.

  2. Okay, I started to laugh at “will have a very different experience…” I suspect you speak the truth on that, BB, but imagine if you could see/have his experience AND your own. How cool would that be? Fun will be had when you’re out with a seven year old boy. 🙂
