Latent heat stroke and vicarious thrills

The past three days,

have been beautiful,

cool and breezy,

a break from the oppressive,

heat and humidity,

very nice,

but,

in spite of what are ideal,

conditions,

for good spirits,

good sleeping,

and,

good bookstore sales,

people,

and,

I include myself in this,

have been,

gloomy.

Perhaps,

it’s latent heat stroke syndrome

🙂

I’m bored,

I’m cranky,

as a result,

I’m probably,

boring and annoying,

can’t even blame the hormones!!!

This Sunday,

a family birthday BBQ,

for my niece,

that should drag me,

out of my doldrums,

and,

funk,

kids keep it real.

The little dynamo,

will be 3,

she’s so cute,

something to look forward to,

spending time with the,

goblins:-)

Everyone seems to be going on vacation

except me,

I know, I know, I’m whining, vacation envy?? Nah, fatigue more like

What I wouldn’t give,

to be going away,

Cape Cod,

Ogunquit,

Gaspe,

Scarborough,

whatever,

oh well,

maybe next year?

In the meantime,

some,

dreamy images,

and looking forward to the Fall.

The Blue Lagoon, Iceland - The Blue Lagoon in Reykjavik, Iceland is a naturally heated pool of mineral-rich seawater that’s usually anywhere between 98-102 degrees. Visitors can slather themselves in white, silica-based mud and soak while taking in the views of the lava field it’s located in.

If any of you girls,

are going anywhere,

near a beach,

or just getting away,

somewhere,

nice,

tell me about it.

Give an ole butch,

a vicarious thrill:-)

Later girls,

BB

  1. BB: When you said Scarborough, you meant the one in England, didn’t you? With all due respect, Scarborough Ontario has limited tourist attraction, other than the Bluffs… and a few modernist houses and a lingering 60s strip mall-ness and motels where the federal government stuffs refugees… all of which you can see in 20 minutes. 😉

  2. I meant Ontario, I was being glib, in the I need to get away soooo much, even Scarborough looks good,
this was bitchy, sorry, latent heat stroke.
