The beauty of the sky

Today is September 11 Th,

eleven years ago,

today,

it was a beautiful sunny day,

just like today.

I will never forget,

where I was,

at home, sleeping, I was on vacation,

How I felt,

like the world had gone, MAD!!

the profound sadness,

that inhabited me,

for weeks,

afterwards.

An infamous date,

a sad date,

September,

a beautiful month,

September 11 Th,

a date that brings home,

the fragility,

the precarious nature,

of,

Life.

The september sky,

is to me,

luminously blue,

beautiful,

and,

clear.

I look to the sky,

on September 11 th,

and,

remind myself,

how lucky,

I am to be alive,

to love those,

I love,

to be loved,

to see that beautiful sky.

We musn’t forget,

or let cynicism about,

politics,

and,

religion,

take away the memory,

of those who perished,

or rob us of the beauty,

of that sky.

Later girls,
